About Me

Hello! My name is Taylor & chances are if you’re reading this you’re a big time dog fan just like me.

I’ve owned Around the Sound Dogs, walking dogs and pet-sitting on the Olympic Peninsula in Port Townsend, WA for the last 5 years and prior to that was a dog walker in Bar Harbor, Maine where I attended college and spent my days hiking in Acadia National Park.

As of January 2026, I have relocated to Boise with my husband and our two doggos and am looking forward to building my business here. We love the outdoor recreation Idaho has to offer and spend our off days dirt biking, skiing, snowboarding, and adventuring.

My values as a dog walker are to be reliable, communicative, and provide quality exercise & attention. Is your dog wilder than a Tasmanian devil? Challenge accepted. My trademark is returning your dog to you spoiled & doggone tired. Whether it’s trail-running, hiking or adventuring into the snow; dog walking for me is a means for me to explore the great outdoors in all it’s seasons. Wherever our adventures take us, you can expect a bundle of scenic pictures along the way! I adjust our daily adventures to meet your dogs needs. As much as I enjoy active, energetic dogs, I am also very confident in working with and caring for senior dogs including managing medications & specialty diets- this goes for our feline friends as well.
